Daniel is a retired accountant whose walk with Christ began in high school but deepened decades later when a long‑overlooked truth in Scripture confronted him — something he had never learned in his early church years. That awakening drew him to weigh Western church tradition against the Word of God and cling to what is true. After retiring and moving to Killeen, he joined Memorial Baptist Church, where his renewed faith continued to grow. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and lives in Killeen with his wife of over fifty years. His spiritual influences include the doctrinal clarity of Dr. Walter Martin, the courage of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the biblical urgency of David Platt, the scientific insight of Hugh Ross, and the verse‑by‑verse teaching of Pastor Chuck Smith — voices that quietly inform his writing and his love for Scripture.
